And We Stay tells the story of Emily Beam, a seventeen-year-old who is sent to a boarding school, and follows Emily as she tries to overcome the event that sent her there - her ex-boyfriend's suicide.
This was a well written story and I liked that Emily's poems were included at the end of each chapter.
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Emily - there were times when I liked her and times when I didn't.
I did feel sorry for her though because of what she'd been through.
Overall this was a good read that I enjoyed.
