Title: Sapphires and Songs (The Tienimi Club Series, #2)
Author: Aurelia Fray
Publisher: Hot Ink Press
Release date: 4th November 2015

Blurb from Goodreads:

When Josh Fletcher first attended Tienimi, a luxurious and very secret Hawaiian resort, he refused to believe the hype about it. He just didn’t see the draw until he met Penelope.
One look and Josh knew he was in love. In only one night, he was raised up and then crushed when she walked out on the arm of another guy.
A year of pining and planning to win her over brings them both back to the resort and this time Josh is determined to get his girl. But Tienimi has other plans for Josh.
Namely Blue—a mysterious young woman who is absolutely nothing like Penelope.
So why does she capture his attention? Why, for the first time in a year, does she make him question his feelings for Penny? Blue is a woman Josh is forced to spend time with, a woman he doesn’t want to know, one he doesn’t want to like and certainly doesn’t want to love.
Josh is about to find out that we don’t always get what we want.

My Review:

5/5 stars

Josh Fletcher never believed in love at first sight. Until he saw Penelope. When she leaves on the arm of another man, Josh is devastated. Unable to get Penelope off his mind, Josh tries to find her, intending to win Penelope's heart.
A year after first seeing her, Josh is back at Tienimi, an exclusive resort for the wealthy, the place where he first saw Penelope. Josh gets a job as a companion in the hopes that the full access it will give him will help in his hunt for Penelope.
Then Josh meets Blue. She's the first woman since seeing Penelope to turn his head. Josh tries to stay away from Blue but keeps finding himself drawn to her.
Will Josh find Penelope?

Sapphires and Songs was a very enjoyable read.
I loved how determined Josh was to find Penelope.
I liked Blue and felt sorry for her having such a tough time.
The plot was good and held my attention.
The writing style was gripping and made me want to read on even though I did guess the twist.
The romance was sweet and not over the top.

Overall this was a very enjoyable read that I would recommend.
